Places to stay and visit

Buckingham is nestled in Britain's history.

In 7th century English "Buckingham" tranlates to 'meadow of Bucca's people', settled by the first Anglo Saxon settles.
14 centurys later and lots has happened in and around Buckingham. From the stately homes of Stowe, Claydon and Waddesdon all within 20 minutes of the town.

Buckingham lies 20 minutes from Silverstone race course, one of the countries most prestigeous motor-racing sites.

In the centre of town there is a 16th century 'gaol' which now serves as a museum and goes into great detail of the town and the area's rich history.

If you would like to stay in town, then we have the award winning Villiers Hotel located less than a minutes walk from the highstreet.
